Mia, I think Advent calendars faded from use here too until this year. I am noticing a huge increase interest in Advent the past two years here. It’s amazing.

I remember that as a child I once had one of these Advent calendars that looked like a paper stable. But this is not a tradition that the people in South Africa follow as sort of part of Christmas. Yet, I think it is such a great way to celebrate our King Jesus who lives in the humble stables of our hearts!
