I used to think discernment made all things clear but my experience is showing me otherwise. I think it is the process – the time with God, listening and allowing him to shape me – that is the best fruit from decision making. You shared some great breath prayers in your comment! Thank you.

So glad you shared it with us, Jean. And with you, I sometimes step out in faith, not quite sure I’m heading in the right direction. I have to trust God will stop me, turn me around, or steer me in a different direction if I have mischosen. I suppose if he always told us exactly what to do and when, there would be little faith involved. And he does delight in our faith (Hebrews 11:6).

Always talkin to God first…wantin what He wants…quiet..listening….waitin…patience….do your part…if its there to do…and if all else is mute……..sit back and see what develops……as our Lord says…be anxious for nothing….

And do think God does prompt us to make a choice between good options. As many times we are choosing between good and good, rather than good and not so good. :)! Taking a step in faith is teaching me to trust He turns us if in the wrong direction, or closes and opens doors.
