And praise God, our love for him DOES affect everything! Also, Henri Nouwen’s quote seems especially appropriate at this time when political views are polarized. From the beginning to the quotes. Your post made me think of the abridge autobiography of St. Therese of Lisieux – and her passionate love for her Savior – she was so unabashedly in love with him. Happy Valentines Day to you! I loved a lot of these quotes, but really agreed with the one that talks about how God is just ‘head over heels’ in love with us. Giddy with love. That is an amazing thought, and I believe that it’s 100% true.
Planning anything fun today? I know you’ll spend time with your love, Jesus. I will too! But I’ll also have some quiet time with my husband, thanking God for all the love he has shown us in our children and grands.
