Just received my copy yesterday and am already into the fourth chapter. So personal and so meaningful. I relate. The Biblical references are so “right-on” to the subject matter and the many facets of platinum are used as reference in a comprehensive and useful way. I will give the image of my spiritual journey some thought. My life verse right now is “My God will supply all your needs.” Philippians 4:19…He has kept this promise through the past few years in many different ways.

In reply to Nancy Ruegg. I was in a meeting last week and the speaker shared her image of her faith journey and how it changed from a ladder to a labyrinth. That got me curious. I think an image for me would be a tree. I told my spiritual director tho that that lack growth and forward movement but she reminded me about the tree rings in the inside. wonderful image of faith for me now. I think this will be a furue blog post too.

My faith is described as in 2 Corinthians 5:7, Walking by faith not by sight. This is a big challenge which inspire me always when the going gets tough. My faith tells me that Ex 14:14 He will fight for me. The battles are not mine but are Thine. l put all my trust unto Him. He’s my gracious redeemer and l am more than a conqueror, in Jesus Christ name. Amen!

How would I describe my faith? That’s a question I’ve never been asked before, and don’t have a ready answer. I should. The first adjective that comes to mind is “tested.” (‘Wish I could think of a clever metaphorical descriptor like Michelle and Bethany!) I’ve been a Christian more than 60 (!) years now, and have seen God work in my life and the lives of many others. I’ve also seen the validity of His Word–over and over again. But beyond this initial response, no other descriptors are occurring to me. More thought (and journaling perhaps) will be needed. Thank you, Jean, for a great question to ponder!
