You're my inspiration, Jean! I have wanted to read more poetry in 2024 (and by more, I mean ANY! lol) compared to previous years, but I got off to a slow start. I've since subscribed to an email Poem-of-a-Day to help me with the practice. I've also set a goal to write one poem a month, so your daily habit is incredible to me! :) I'm off now to click through some of the links you've shared here for more help! Thank you, friend.

I love that you include poetry in your time with the Lord, Jean. This is not a mode that my brain works in but I appreciate seeing it in the lives of others. Thank you for always nudging us higher, friend.

You inspire me, Jean! I've dabbled in poetry-writing and always enjoyed the dance with words it engenders. But to make it a daily practice? Oh my! I admire your discipline, even if you missed a day here and there!

I've been dabbling with poetry myself, but haven't heard of this book or the exercise you shared. I hope you share more as the weeks go by! Blessings on your year!

As I love to read and write poetry, Jean, this is right up my alley! Robert Frost is definitely in my top 10. Yes, I do think of poetry as being a spiritual exercise, too. God is stretching us to describe His grace in fresh and new ways. As you already know, I often post poetry at my blog. I hope to do more this year!
Blessings!
