It’s just been so hot lately I can’t hardly sit out there for long. I love that you honor all the sacredness in your life. I took a zoom course this winter called “Seeking the Sacred.” It was so helpful to recalibrate my focus.

I’m another who loves to spend quiet time with God in his creation. My office is another sacred space, where i compose blog posts and other writings, where quiet time happens in the winter (with a candle glowing nearby.. The beds where our granddaughters sleep when they come for overnights also become sacred spaces, as we cuddle together for “Jesus Loves Me,” “Jesus Is With Me,” and other such songs.

I always feel close to God when I go out on our deck in the morning and breath in the cooler air, listen to the birds, and gaze at the trees all around me. God’s creation reminds of His omnipresence and His majesty. I can talk with Him anywhere, but it is in those times that I can truly listen and be more open to His will.
