I listened to a great speaker/writer when I traveled last week: Richard Rohr who said after years and years of contemplative prayer, he only gets glimpses and ofter at the end of his 20 minutes of prayer. I figured if he still fought with distractions, maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on myself and just let them go and refocus. Let’s both keep our eyes open to His continual and blessed goodness!
