the practice of remembering, reflection and/or writing you spiritual autobiography recording spiritual events that impacts your life is another way to capture those milestones. Tomorrow is our big day at church, I am so excited. We are expected many many people and friends from the past. What a blessing this milestone will be

One milestone that came to mind while reading your post, Jean, was completing a three-year scripture study on the entire Bible --only it took me 15 years!! I had to take frequent pauses and complete other studies for Sunday School, women's ministries, or small groups. Also, I took advantage of my preacher-husband's resources, and read extra material as I went along. What a glorious feeling of accomplishment when I finished the last question! But that was 1992. Praise God he inspired me to move on to the next milestone with other studies (though none as long)! I love learning about the Bible, discovering new inspiration or life-lessons. I know you do, too!

I don't know that I could add anything to the list you've presented here, Jean, but you certainly had me reflecting upon the many milestones in my life as I've traveled this road. Looking back, there are so many, both good and bad, but I'm cherishing the memories. And as long as we live and breathe, there will always be another milestone to reach.
Blessings!
