Each one, when it was discovered, spoke to me with surprising insight, speaking my heart-thoughts before they’d become words. Now I want to add Henri Nouwen’s prayer you’ve shared here. Who know that HE would suffer from distraction?! His prayer echoes my experience some days. I love his honesty and humility as he presents himself to God as he is, and asks God to give him rest.
