The Easter vigil is long. lots of listening and reading. But this year seemed different to me. I kept listening to the Bible stories of how powerful God was and that brought me into worship differently this year and lingered with me yet today. I am right with you praying next year Easter will be even more joyous with hugs and smiles and alleluias sung and shouted!

What a beautiful way to prepare hearts for Easter. Maybe next year I can seek one out. I’m praying that the next Easter season will look very different from this one.

Holy Saturday is so rick in tradition and expectation. Gives me hope when we also go through difficult times. Easter is coming!

I think about how the disciples must have felt on that day when it seemed all was hopeless. It reminds me of how incredible a gift God gave to us all in Jesus’ resurrection, and I am thankful beyond words.
