I love the idea of a praying life. to be aware of God through all our moments would be ideal. Just this morning I sensed God telling me just to work, he was with me, by my side whether I noticed or not. awesome moment. Happy weekend, Ceil!

Like Martha, I love that idea of a ‘praying life’. I have read recently that God is always doing something, and that really piqued my interest. I guess maybe I have been too much focused on a prayer life, and not opening up to the flow of each moment. It’s an effort for a newbie like me!

It is like writing. We can attend conferences, read all the book, attend the online courses but to really learn to write, we need to write. Same with Prayer, the more we spend time with God the more we want to communicate with him. I hope this year helps others learn more about prayer. And then your conclusion, Jean, beautifully wrapped up all this wisdom about prayer: “This mutuality sparks the energy of devoted love between two beings, one the Creator and one the loved creation.” Praise God for his devoted love, compelling him to draw us ever closer to his side–through prayer!

Yes, prayer does change us, Jean, and that can be uncomfortable, but it’s necessary.
