OOOO Ceil, first of all so good to hear from you. You have been in my prayers. Second I just love showers and can’t imagine not being able to take them so fully understand how you are thristing on a different level now than ever before. Enjoy every moment of that hair washing and sponge bath. I think you will be multiple posts from this experience – just what we take for granted for example and being grateful for daily things such as showers. will keep you in my prayers!!

I just had to laugh today as I shared this with the kids during the Children’s sermon. We had a cheer going :

Who are you?
I am a loved child of God!

We even got the adults to participate. It was wonderful and I did have to wonder how many adults had never said that about themselves before. Neat moment in church.

And let me tell you, I thirst for a shower!! Now with this broken leg, a bath is a complete luxury. I now understand why that deer was thirsting for water. Water has so many meanings, and I am connecting with washing right now. I will definitely think of baptism tomorrow as I get my hair washed and get a sponge bath. How beautiful it will be!
