I’m with Martha, below — lots to ponder here, Jean! ‘Never thought to create an image that encapsulated my beliefs, as Luther did. As for your image — oh my. You could write a book on all the imagery and lessons a tree provides! (You’d have lots of scriptural support, too.) I’ll have to keep my eyes and ears open for the imagery God has for me to embrace.

In reply to Martha Orlando. I hope you do find some images through prayer. I think sometimes i focus too much on the image and not on the Creator though. God is working on me on that. Images help but aren't God. Always learning aren't we?

Jean, this really made me think. I don’t currently have one image that illustrates my beliefs. Maybe I need to go to God in prayer about this and see what He sends me.
That painting of the Road to Emmaus has always been one of my favorites, too, and I loved Luther’s imagery! Blessings!
