Interesting story isnt it? So many wonderful people were never taught to us in school but as adults there is no excuse to keep learning and sharing their stories. You do a great job of this!!

So glad you introduced me to both today, Jean. What an interesting melody, and of course the words are timeless: “May we forever stand, True to our God, True to our native land.” James’ 100+-year old prayer for people to stand true to God and America sounds as if it were written yesterday.
