"Remember" - there has to be a reason that God stressed it so much. I'll be noticing it more now in my readings too, Jean.... Thanks for sharing these goodies here.

A Desert Day sounds delightful. I've copied your suggestions for my notebook, to use when a half-day alone presents itself. (I hope you don't mind!) My learning for May included: 1) Paul reminded the Colossians to be thankful 5 times within 43 verses--it's that important. 2) a meaningful quote--"Faith never denies reality but leaves room for God to grant a new reality" (Jim Cymbala). 3) a new word for me: abeyance, meaning the condition of being temporarily set aside. Synonyms include: dormancy, intermission, latency, quiescence, remission, suspension. M-m-m. Some of those synonyms describe Desert Day!!

Jean, I love the idea of setting aside an intentional day to spend with God. That's ingenious! I definitely want to try that, and will let you know how it goes.
Yes, I very much appreciated the quote from A. A. Milne - so true!!!
The most important thing I learned in May is that God's grace is sufficient for me. Since you are aware of all we've been through, I know you can appreciate this.
Blessings
