Interesting you hear your mom too. I have decided to call my inner critic after her – Elinor. Elinor when she is demanding and then Eli once I back her off. LOL

Like your mother, my mom has always criticized and planted seeds of doubt. I’m happy to say that though I hear her voice for real and in my mind, I no longer listen.
