A week later his disciples were again in the house, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were shut, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.”
Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have come to believe.”
John 20:26-29 (NRSV)
Thank you for your peace, Lord.
May your tranquility be ever surrounding me.
May your stillness calm the storms that rage within and around.
May your harmony preside in all my relationships.
May your serenity soothe my frazzled nerves and doubting mind.
May your peace roll the stone away from my heart so I recognize you are my Lord and my God.

I love how we can hear messages in multiple ways. God is so cool that way! Have a great week.

Hi Jean! I like that last prayer, wanting peace to roll away the stone. That’s something I definitely want too. Imagine how important peace is, that Jesus wished it for his disciples right away. I know I need peace to have a clarity of heart and soul.
Wishing you peace this Sunday afternoon,
Ceil
