Days pass and the years vanish and we walk sightless among miracles.
Lord, fill our eyes with seeing and our minds with knowing.
Let there be moments when your Presence, like lightning, illumines the darkness in which we walk.
Help us to see, wherever we gaze, that the bush burns, unconsumed.
And we, clay touched by God, will reach out for holiness and exclaim in wonder,
“How filled with awe is this place and we did not know it.”

Neat about your barn experience. May everytime you pass it, I pray it opens your eyes even more. yes, yes everyday is a fresh miracle. Great reminder for me to read your words.
I was shocked just yesterday when I noticed a beautiful, dilapidated barn that I’ve driven past probably thousands of times and never saw it. As deep as I look, I miss so much. But I guess that’s what makes every day a fresh miracle.
Thanks Lynn. Hope you had a terrific weekend!
I love it that you see life as the miracle it is. I know I have had to be intentionally with that practice. heading over to your blog right now, Chris. Thanks!
Hi Kendal, The one thing I really like about these weekly quotes and they DO give me something to ponder over the weekend. Glad they do that for you too. Thanks for commenting.
I love this, Jean! Thanks so much for sharing it. Bless you!
We walk sightless among miracles.
Maybe some of us do. Not me certainly. I see life as miraculous. Everything is a miracle in my eyes. But that’s just the way I live my life. My God is everywhere!
You only have to know me to see that I believe all I say. Read my blog and you’ll get it.
