I pray, “Yes love, love changes everything. Lord, now I tremble at your name. Nothing in the world will ever be the same. Love will never, never let us be the same.”
Love, love changes everything
Hands and faces, earth and sky
Love, love changes everything
How you live and how you die
Love, love can make the summer fly
Or a night seem like a lifetime
Yes love, love changes everything
Now I tremble at your name
Nothing in the world will ever be the same
Love, love changes everything
Days are longer, words mean more
Love, love changes everything
Pain is deeper than before
Love will turn your world around
And that world will last forever
Yes love, love changes everything
Brings you glory, brings you shame
Nothing in the world will ever be the same
Off into the world we go
Planning futures, shaping years
Love bursts in and suddenly all our wisdom disappears
Love makes fools of everyone
All the rules we made are broken
Yes love, love changes everyone
Live or perish in its flame
Love will never never let you be the same
Love will never never let you be the same
How has love changed you?
“Now I tremble at your name; nothing in the world will ever be the same.” Oh, yes! The more we know of God’s names, the more we appreciate him. The more we appreciate him, the more impacted we are by his presence in our lives. Example: Meditating on Jehovah-Jireh, God our Provider, transforms worry into faith. Our outlook changes. We don’t see the world in the same way anymore! Thank you, Jean, for sharing this song–one that’s new to me.
Oh, lovely, Jean. Thank you for reminding me about this song. It really does, doesn’t it? Change everything? Sometimes I pray for a supernatural ability to love. That’s the super power I want 🙂
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes please share any of this with your worship team. Blessings on your work! Great verse from John too
I find I have to be aware and still to feel those nudges though. They happen more often than I realize. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” John 4:12
A new favorite verse driving forward my new blogging experience where I get to connect with sisters like you! I LOVE the phrasing of songs that ‘stick to your soul’ and would love to share this thought with the worship team I lead!!
how exciting 🙂 keep us posted…
I love how God taps me on the shoulder with songs. This is a great one. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Thanks for your prayers. I have one agent who may be interested and is willing to see my proposal and meet with several editors and got some writing ideas. Now the work begins. I plan to take lots of stuff to research and work on on the long car rides towards Utah.
What wisdom…thanks for sharing the song…how was your conference? I was praying for you….hugs to you, Jean 🙂
You know Glenda, I find thinking about which options shows more love often guides me to the better decision or reminds me how to treat a situation – with the most love I can and ask for God’s love to shine through.
I like your question … which option shows more love.
Fondly,
Glenda
