Hi Joanne, I really don’t understand why Disqus sometimes acts goofy but I know it does at times. Glad you liked the quote – I know I did too. Have a wonderful week!
Hi Chris, good to hear from you. You and I have the same evening prayer. When I first decided to find something to be grateful for each night I thought I would have a difficult time finding one thing some days. But have been so wrong. when I review the day, I see God over and over again. So much to be thankful for, even on the tough days.
I wrote a comment and the Disqus refused to let me post w/o going to FB or somewhere, so I did. overall, this was a great post for my present-day situation. Knowing our earth is “sand” forever and heaven is “ROCK” makes all the difference in our lives.
Hi Jean: One of my nightly tasks after I meditate and have my conversation with MY God is to find something to be grateful for. I don’t get into bed until I find at least one thing and I send up my gratitude to HIM.
I think it is so important to be grateful every night for something, anything.
Thank you for this reminder tonight, Jean. — Chris
I snapped the photo at a retreat center last March. I know several stores carry this saying but not in this style. I tried to google it in this format for you but didn’t see it. Though there are some really nice presentation of this quote. great saying, isn’t it? Wish I practiced it more but still trying.
